Sacchraomyces Beer Cafe is doing Oktoberfest a different way.... the challenge of the brews! It will be Germany vs Australia, with six old world Weihenstaphan kegs and six locally brewed beers.  Throughout the day there will be an ongoing ballot to decide who the winning country of Brew is.  With each Aussie-German pair of beers ordered throughout the day, you will receive a token to place your vote.  

The food menu for the day will be Aussie-German inspired with dessert pretzels and kangaroo curry-wurst.  Now doesn't that sound a lot more fun that the traditional Oktoberfest?

When:  Sunday 16 October from 10am until 10pm.

Where:  Saccharomyces Beer Cafe, Fish Lane, South Brisbane

Cost:  Free Entry, however you can pre-purchase a ticket for $30 which will include 1 x 1 litre stein (yours to keep) with your first fill included or 10 tasters, 1 x meal from the Kraftoberfest menu and one bonus voting token
